Enjoy aquatics in the summertime in our outdoor pool! The pool at the Bainbridge Island Recreation Center operates seasonally, depending on weather conditions. The 23-yard pool has three lap lanes, open recreational space, walk-in entry stairs, and an ADA chair lift. The pool deck has tables, chairs, and umbrellas for facility users.
Our facility offers a variety of aquatic programs that cater to swimmers of all ages and abilities.
For those looking to simply enjoy some leisurely swimming, we offer lap swimming and open swim times. Lap swimming is perfect for those looking to get in a workout, while open swimming is a great opportunity to cool off and have fun with the family. Our facility is also equipped with outdoor furniture, perfect for lounging and soaking up some sun between swims.
Recreational swimming is an unstructured time for individuals and families to be physically active in fun and upbeat, low-impact ways. Children under the age of seven who are not Level 4 swimmers must have an adult (ages 16 and over) in the water within arm’s reach. Those under eight years old must have an adult in the facility.
The schedule is subject to change; please check the pool calendar before your visit.
